From Southern Vermont to Southwest Florida
Riley Chila was born and raised in Southern Vermont, where he learned excavation, equipment operation and construction craftsmanship from his father. He started Apex Land & Construction in Manchester, Vermont, and spent four successful years building the company on driveways, site work, retaining walls, drainage, hardscapes and landscapes.
Today Riley works in Naples, Florida, building the next chapter of Apex. The ground is different, sand and caprock instead of New England ledge, and the weather is different too, but the standard is the same: careful planning, quality workmanship and a clean site at the end of every day.
Riley is drawn most to outdoor living and thoughtful property design, the projects where good site work and good design come together into a space people actually enjoy.
